Citrix has simplified the installation and management of the Xendesktop product line. Desktop Studio is the new management console used to configure and provision the virtual desktop infrastructure and Desktop Director is the management tool that will provide helpdesk and support personnel the ability to monitor, troubleshoot and carry out basic management tasks.

For the purpose of this tutorial I will be using Citrix Netscaler VPX express edition virtual appliance and the appliance is available for download from the Citrix website.
